Paris Hilton Shoe Line Up For Fashion Award
Contactmusic.com: Paris Hilton is going up against Jay Z and Gwen Stefani for a top fashion award.
The hotel heiress' Paris Hilton Footwear brand is up for Best Celebrity Licensee of the Year at the 2012 International Licensing Excellence Awards.
Bosses at the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (Lima) have hailed Hilton's range for demonstrating "outstanding creativity and performance".
The reality TV star says, "We have always collaborated to bring the best trends fashion has to offer to consumers while staying true to my personal style. We are overjoyed that our partnership has been recognized and can't wait to continue expanding the brand."
The blonde will compete against Stefani's Harajuku Mini collection and Jay Z's Rocawear at the Lima industry event in Las Vegas on Tuesday (12Jun12).

Well, that’s the new fact and great things we learned about the party-goer and country-hopping-beauty today. Most people didn’t know about it, but according to her mother Kathy Hilton, the 31-year-old hotel heiress always does charitable work that she likes to keep secret rather than broadcasting it to social networking site such as Twitter and Facebook.
In an exclusive report of PR.com Kathy Hilton reveals, “What people don’t realise is that she does a lot of things very quietly. We have a lot of events at our home, where there are no cameras. We work very closely with Starlight (Children’s Foundation) and Make-A-Wish (Foundation), and we do not allow any press in. We don’t allow the parents to bring cameras in. We play with the kids, we colour with them… we bake and we do arts and crafts. I think if you are going to do something nice you don’t have to have (cameras from U.S. news show) Entertainment Tonight following you around.
“Whatever country Paris is in, she will go to an orphanage, she will go visit children because that’s her thing. So you don’t see and hear all about that because then it looks like you are doing it for show. I have had my girls helping, whether it was stuffing goody bags or selling raffle tickets, getting involved with every single charity that I have ever been involved with since they were five or six years old.”
